after speaking with hercules tech support i managed to get my firmware updated on a windows 7 computer to v32, hoping along with with a powered usb cable i could use my rmx on my newer windows 10 pc.
i reinstalled the newest hercules console, plugged the rmx in and now instead of unknown device errors, im getting device descriptor failed errors.
im not actually using a powered hub but rather a powered usb cable made for my camera. it provides 5 volts and 4.5 amps. i use it for a few other devices that had power issues on windows 10 and it works for everything but the rmx.
any help would be great,

If you get the error message
"Error on a request from the USB device descriptor"
it is an error the computer may display when the USB bus power is too limited.
Please check if you still get this issue in booting the computer with the DJ Console Rmx already connected (instead of connecting the Rmx after the computer has booted).
If it still does not work, you need a USB hub which has a power adapter.
