i have recently purchased the dj control air+ and am getting a new laptop with windows 8 - could someone possibly give me a detailed step by step setup. so i can have everything ready to install the controller and speakers.
including settings i may have to edit/change on the laptop settings...

I have a set of powered speakers, but they have bare wire connectors, can I add RCA cables on the and use those?
What is the brand and model of these speakers ?
Usually, bare wire cables are used with by consumer speakers needing to be connected to an amplifier. On some occasion, they may be used to connect speakers between themselves (say the left to the right where all connections reside), but rarely this type of cable is used to connect to the audio source.
