Hello i am new here. I have Hercules RMX2
I Want to use hercules rmx2's sound card with my pc but how?
I try but output just 1-2 speakers. DOnt working headphone without djduced.
Because my sound card nor good. Its standart Notebook realtek sound card. I want to use RMX2's sound card. I can select "outuput device DJConsele rmx2" for speakers. And rmx2 out with "1/2 output". But this output connect the big speakers. I want to use "headphone jack" over rmx2
maybe i can send the game sounds to rmx2 too.
how can I do it?
My english some bad, sorry.

Hello yucelll,
Welcome to the forum.
On DJ controllers, headphones outputs are set on channels 3-4 (= rear speakers on a 4-channel configuration) in order to prelisten something else that the music you play for the audience on the master output.
To use your DJ Console Rmx2 headphones output for multimedia use, you must re-assign the headphones to channels 1-2:
- Open DJConsole Rmx2 control panel (the icon is on Windows notification area, on the right of Windows task bar)
- Go to the Advanced tab
- Change Headphone channels to 1-2, instead of the default 3-4,
And that's it, you can play the multimedia sound in the headphones output.
Just do not forget you did it, since when you want to use the DJ Console Rmx2 in normal DJ use (Master Out playing the master sound for the audience, Headphones out playing the preview, you must come back to the former setting and assign headphone channels to 3-4).

Oh mann!! Thanks! Its working really. And working with Vol Pot, thats perfect!
And last more one. My RMX2's adapter is missing.. I couldn't find 7.5v here.
I found here 7v 2a Switch Mode Adapter;
I tested for 2 hours and no problem but: does this cause a problem?

Hello yucelll,
Happy it works for you.
The 2A switch mode adapter is perfect, 7v is slightly short, but as long as the power adapter does not warm up, it means it is OK.
If you feel the power adapter becoming hot, it will mean you have to change (switch mode power adapters of 8v or 9v work well with Rmx2).

1- Which internal sound card is better? Starlight vs RMX2
2- RMX2's beginning light dance is very beautiful. Is there no way to run this as standby? Always dancing?

Hello Yucelll,
1) Best sound card: DJConsole Rmx2 sound card is definitely better than Startlight (24-bit 96kHz resolution / more and better outputs (balanced) / audio inputs)
2) I do not think there is a continuous Vegas mode on Rmx2: you can replay the Vegas mode in pressing simultaneously on Pitch - / Pitch + on both decks (the - and + keys below the pitch fader).

Hello,
I do not remember of any specific feature but if you also have a Starlight, this second controller has a permanent Vegas Mode feature: press Preview deck A + Shift + Preview deck B + Vinyl.
