just got a dj instict and i cannot get it to work on my windows 8.1 operating pic. it wont detect the mixer and once it does , it stopped working almost immediately. any suggestions?

1) Make sure you have the last drivers and Djuced 18 software:
- The driver should be 2014_HDJS_1
- Djuced 18 package should be 1.0.97
and make sure you install them with an administrator account of your computer.

in "Hercules equipment in use", check on DJControl Instinct
in "DJ Software in use", precise your DJ software
in "Describe your equipment", provide details on your computer equipment:
- Computer brand & model,
- Computer type (laptop, desktop, tablet)
- Operating system version: Windows 8.1 64-bit
- your driver version (as package 2014_HDJS_1 in Windows).
