Hi,
If the Current Firmware is v32, then you already have the latest version and there is technically no need to update it.
That being said, could you try connecting the Rmx to the computer using a shorter, well-shielded USB cable (a maximum of 3.3 feet/1 meter in length) ?
First, try with only the cable, and if this doesn't help, add your powered USB hub.
We see this solution helping a lot of users with older devices.
