Hola a todos,
Hace una semana que tengo el Inpulse 500 y veo que los jog wheels van demasiado duros. Creo que deberían ir más sueltos.
Por ejemplo, para hacer scratch se tiene que hacer bastante fuerza con la mano y es muy incómodo, además de que no se puede afinar el movimiento.
¿Os pasa a vosotros también?
La verdad, creo que no es normal. Sobretodo el del lado izquierdo va más duro que el derecho.

Me pasa lo mismo que ati. Los jogs se frenan nada más tocarlos. Están increíblemente duros por favor necesito ayuda

De verdad estoy muy preocupado con este tema, llevo con la controladora menos de un mes y no se si es un fallo mismo de la máquina porque veo videos en los que el jog está más ligero y en mi controladora se me resbalan los dedos de la fuerza que tengo que aplicar sobre ellos para que se muevan

- in "Software In Use", check the name(s) of your DJ software, Djuced and/or Serato
- in "Describe your equipment", describe your computer
- brand and model
- CPU
- RAM
- Type of USB port (USB 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 3.1...)
- Environment (Eg. Window 10 64-bit)
- version of DJ software (Eg. Djuced 5.3.2, Serato Lite 1.5.9, Serato 2.5.9 )
- version of DJ driver (Eg. 2021_HDJS_1)
As it is simpler to know which DJ controller you have if it is listed in your profile instead of having to read Javi5688 other discussion to know his controller is indeed a DJControl Inpulse 500.

A point on the friction of DJ controllers jog wheels
Most DJ controllers have a friction set by grease in the axis of the jog wheel
- the more grease, the higher the friction
- the colder, the higher the friction
A too high friction may be due to
- too much grease or a wrong dispatch of the grease,
- cold storing.
Store you DJ controller in the warm rooms of the place you live in (if it is store in the basement, it may be cold and get a too high friction).
If there is too much friction, try storing the controller upside down it its box / bag / cover in a warm ambiance, then when try to turn very fast the wheels.

Yo también he visto vídeos en los que se ve que van mucho más suaves. los míos se frenan en seco.

Perdón pero no creo que se deba a la humedad del lugar donde lo tengo.
A mí me lo vendieron ya así, siendo totalmente nuevo y recién sacado de su caja.
He seguido las indicaciones de Amazon (adquirí el Inpulse 500 a través de ellos), y me han dicho que rellene el formulario de contacto de la propia página de Hercules. Así lo he hecho y hasta les he enviado un pequeño vídeo donde se ver perfectamente la dureza de los jogweels de mi Inpulse 500.
A ver si hay suerte y me lo solucionan pronto, porque para que no le pase nada al Inpulse 500 lo he metido en su caja y no lo usaré hasta tener la solucion.

Yo estoy haciendo la prueba es que dicen de dejarlo boca abajo durante un mínimo de 3 horas.
Parece ser que el problema pueda deberse a que la grasa se "endurece" con el frío y no queda bien repartida por el eje del jogweel.
Es por eso que aconsejan dejarlo boca abajo durante unas horas a una temperatura aceptable (unos 20º C).
Yo he hecho la prueba que ha hecho un miembro del foro inglés, que es calentar la parte de abajo del Inpulse 500 con un secador durante un rato, luego darle la vuelta y comenzar a girar rápidamente los jogweels. Lo cierto es que se nota que funciona, pero lo acabo de probar y hasta que no se vuelva a enfriar durante unas horas no sé si el resultado será definitivo, pero al menos recién calentados los jogweels funcionan bien, van mucho más suaves.
Intenta probar a ver qué resultado te da a ti y comentamos.
