he there,

im new at this forum but i have the hercules rmx2 for quitte some time now and im just getting back into djing.
so the problem is the software. i tried virtual dj le and the full version demo and it works well with the rmx2 controller.
the problem is that i also use the pioneer cdj2000nexus in the clubs so i want to try rekordbox dj so i can make my playlist preb at home with my rmx2. when i use rekordbox dj with the rmx2 i cant get the faders to work right. they keep jumping from 0 to 10. also i cant get the jogwheel to work properly. anyone who knows how to fix this or has a complete midi mapping?

Hello DJwytzo,

1) Fader
Plese precise whether you mean the pitch or the volume fader or the cross fader: which fader do you mean?
Please also precise if you do not meet the same problem of rotary buttons.
Jumping from 0 to 10 as you write may come from a mistake in the MIDI mapping.
On Rmx2, you can read the MIDI commands sent by the Rmx2 in the manual "Rmx2 MIDI Commands" that you can download on Hercules support website > DJ Controllers > DJConsole Rmx2, in the part MIDI mapping.
If you read this manual, you can read that faders on Rmx2 send MIDI 14-bit commands, with an MSB and a LSB.
So, to learn a 14-bit MIDI command in Rekordbox, you must define in Rekordbox the knob/fader resolution as 16384, as explained on page 4 of Rekordbox MIDI Learn Operation Guide.

2) Jog-wheel
Officially, Jog wheel cannot be mapped in Rekordbox.

but someone has proposed here a workaround process I cannot comment.
